Careful line breeding of Salukis excelling on the open fields of UK and titled with the coveted English Championship fill both sides of Stella's pedigree. Although Specialty BIS is not a title used in England, most of these Salukis did shine at this level. Renowned for quality, health and courage, coupled with friendly temperaments, Stella typifies why these famous performance lineages are so prized today. She's a winner in the Specialty and Group ring including National Specialty Award of Merit.
Stella was Canada's #1 lure coursing Saluki 1998 + 2002 with over 300 points in one season. She is currently the highest scoring lure coursing Saluki in Canada. In 1997 she was #15 ASFA (USA lure coursing) in a year with 274 competitors. 1997 Best of Breed at the International Invitational in California. She had a "deep in the corner" lure coursing style. Stella was also NOFCA pointed. Stella lived 15 years and was an outstanding bitch of whom I am very proud.
